Marilyn has been a WellBound member since 2007, but has been an avid exerciser and dancer her entire life.
When she is not exercising Marilyn is committing acts of kindness such as volunteering at St. Leo’s parish where she helps facilitate the food pantry programs through their Human Needs Ministry. Marilyn organizes and packs food items and makes calls to people in need and to other organizations that may also need assistance.
Another organization who benefits from Marilyn’s good will is St. Croix Hospice, an award-winning hospice care organization who helps those in need of end-of-life care, never turning away anyone unable to pay for hospice services.
Working with hospice patients can be difficult, but Marilyn finds the positives in this work through meeting people and listening to the many experiences and stories they have to share.
