We have cardiovascular and strength training equipment with age-friendly features and group fitness classes for all levels.

We offer a medically integrated approach to fitness focusing on cardiovascular fitness, brain fitness, muscular strength and endurance, balance, posture, blood pressure, reaction time, range of motion, and flexibility your health and safety are our first priority.

Meet The Staff

Our staff is different from others because we require a minimum of a health/fitness bachelor's degree, nationally accredited certifications, and accredited training in exercise for conditions such as post cardiac rehab, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight loss, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, orthopedic concerns, balance and coordination, brain fitness, menopause, physical disabilities, pulmonary issues, strength training, flexibility, endurance, posture and more.

Kashmir Lueckenotto, BS, LMT, CPT- is a graduate of the University of Nebraska
Omaha with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. While at UNO she gained
experience working with older adults and has a minor in gerontology. She holds a
personal trainer certification through the American College of Sports Medicine and is a
certified medical exercise specialist through the American Council on Exercise. Through
college coursework Kashmir has gained experience leading group exercise, personal
training, assessing blood pressure, body composition, and flexibility. She has specific
training in working with people who have disabilities, high blood pressure, arthritis, and
post stroke patients. Kashmir is also a graduate of the Universal College of Healing Arts
and is a licensed massage therapist. Through her coursework Kashmir has learned and
had the opportunity to work with many modalities of massage, including Swedish, sports
massage, and chair massage, among others. Enhancing her experience as a personal
trainer and massage therapist Kashmir also completes regular continuing education to
stay current on new developments in the fields.

Anthony Schulenberg, BS, ACSM-CPT- has his degree in Exercise Science from
Wayne State and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. While at
WSC he worked with older adult wellness, taught exercise classes and monitored the
progress of the seniors who participated in the class. During his internship at Omaha
WellBound he gained experience personal training as well as teaching group exercise
classes. He also has training and education in Parkinson's Based Agility Training, Post-
Cardiac Rehab, and Resistance Training for Older Adults.

Kaitlin Stanton, BS, GFI, ACE Medical Exercise Specialist. Kaitlin is a graduate of
Wayne State with a degree in Exercise Science. She is a certified Medical Exercise
Specialist which is one of the only nationally accredited certifications which requires a
health/fitness degree to qualify for taking the exam. Her background includes working in
physical therapy and with older adults recovering from strokes, cardiac rehabilitation,
Parkinson’s Disease, dementia and other medical issues. She has also worked in assisted
living, and taught exercise classes for older adults. Kaitlin currently specializes in areas
such as posture, balance, mobility and breathing techniques.

Michelle Streif, MA, CPT, GFI - has been in the fitness industry 32 years and specializes in older adult fitness. With bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and a masters degree in health education/gerontology from UNO, she has also completed over 600 accredited hours in areas related to older adult health and fitness including post cardiac rehab, diabetes, osteoporosis, balance and coordination, orthopedic post rehabilitation, hypertension, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease and other brain related diseases, fall prevention, Drums Alive and Zumba Gold. In 2017, Michelle also completed nationally accredited courses for CANCER and EXERCISE, MENOPAUSE and EXERCISE, and OSTEO ARTHRITIS specific exercise therapy.  She is a member of the (ACE) American Council on Exercise Faculty, former NSCA Personal Trainer SIG Executive Committee member, NSCA Certification Commission Nominations Committee, a member of the Medical Fitness Association, the International Council on Active Aging, and is a Continuing Education provider for various nationally accredited organizations. Her certifications have included NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Spinning, Precision Cycle, Kickboxing, PACE-Arthritis and Exercise, and she has received ACE/IDEA Specialty Recognition in Older Adults and Exercise and Exercise and Medical Concerns. Michelle has been a presenter for several nationally accredited conferences and workshops where she trains personal trainers, cycling instructors, and aerobics instructors and she has been published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, the Journal of Active Aging, IDEA Today, and has been interviewed for articles in SHAPE, IDEA Today, Healthy Aging, MS-NBC, Personal Fitness Professional, Fitness and GLAMOUR magazines, and written 2 senior continuing education courses for Human Kinetics about safe and appropriate equipment, fitness center design, and programming for seniors.
