Edie is originally from O’Neil, Nebraska but she moved to Omaha many years ago. She has done many things in her lifetime with business and restaurants that has allowed her the time now to give back.
For the last 4 years she has been volunteering her time at the Sacred Heart Pantry. She feels that since she is retired and has more time on her hands that she could take some of that time and give back to the community.
The pantry gives out food to families in need and she does as much as she can in the time she has there to help as many people as possible. She is willing to do anything that is needed such as stocking shelves or helping people find the food items that they need. She knows that all of these people need as much help as the pantry can give them so she makes sure that they are taken care of.
It takes a special person to want to give back to those in need and an even better person to follow through and spend the time doing it. We want to thank Edie for all that she does and we are very proud to have you as a member of our Wellbound family!
