Omaha's WellBound Fitness is Omaha's only complete wellness and fitness center with programs geared for the baby boomer and senior population and those participants with special health concerns. We are hoping to open our new location soon near 90th and Dodge, where we are currently continuing to work with personal training sessions and hold small classes.  This is not yet a full fitness center with membership and the ability to come in and work out on your own.  We are only able to hold personal training sessions and small group classes for April, May and June.  We hope to have additional space completed this summer.

All April classes were sold out, added classes for May and June.  Classes registrations are limited, so register as soon as possible.  Spots will fill on a first-come; first-serve basis, so please check this site regularly to learn which classes are available.

Classes are appropriate for sitting or standing participants.  The fee for each 4 week session (meets once per week) is $20 ($5 per class).  If you would like a registration form or are interested in personal training, email Michelle at FitnessNE@aol.com and information or form will be sent to you right away.  Personal training sessions are available on site, or in your home.

We feature cardiovascular and strength training equipment with age-friendly features, and group fitness classes for all fitness levels that are included in your membership.

Our goal is to improve the overall health and well-being of our members by empowering them with knowledge, skill, encouragement and motivation. We want our members to feel that our Center is their second home -- comfortable, fun, and safe.

We offer a medically integrated approach to fitness. It begins with a personalized Fitness Assessment conducted by one of our fitness specialists. The assessment will provide an analysis of your current physical condition. After reviewing your completed health history questionnaire, the fitness specialist will give you the option to be assessed in a number of areas which measure your abilities in the major aspects of fitness: cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, body composition, balance and risk of falling, blood pressure, body mass index, reaction time, range of motion, and flexibility.

Our staff is different from others because we require a minimum of a health/fitness bachelors degree, nationally accredited certifications, and accredited training in exercise for conditions such as post cardiac rehab, diabetes, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight loss, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, orthopedic concerns, balance and coordination, brain fitness, physical disabilities, pulmonary issues, strength training, flexibility, endurance, posture and more.

We also have certified senior exercise specialists who offer personal exercise programs, small group training and classes, and larger group classes that will come to your home, office, event, church, or civic organization. We offer fun fitness, boot camp, yoga, Pilates, or Zumba parties, and speakers for health and fitness topics.

At Omaha's WellBound Fitness, you become accountable for your fitness and health by receiving a safe and affective jump start AND continual guidance, reassessments and encouragement!

 

We offer 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and annual memberships which include full facility use and over 20 classes each week!
